"Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Body Double (Special Edition) for 3rd October 2006 priced at $19.94 SRP. From director Brian De Palma comes an adult thriller of eroticism and horror, starring actor Craig Wasson and Melanie Griffith in the role that won her the National Society of Film Critics best supporting actress award. Body Double is the story of how one man’s obsession with voyeurism leads him to witness a grisly murder, thus taking him into the unknown world of strippers and porn stars.
Extras include four all-new featurettes including interviews with Brian De Palma, Melanie Griffith, Deborah Shelton, Gregg Henry and Dennis Franz. They are The Seduction, The Set-Up, The Mystery and The Controversy.
The film is presented in 1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen with English and French audio (DD5.1 Surround) and subtitles."
